OMI Regional Programming Conference 2019
After 8 long years, we came back to the City of Smiles and brought our Regional Programming Conference with the theme “Improving Product Activity Through Job Satisfaction - Finding Joy @ Work’. Cable Operators from regions VI and VII came together and celebrated a fun-filled day with us last February 07, 2019 at the L’ Fisher Hotel, Bacolod City.
We started the morning with our Vice President and COO Mr. Timothy Bautista acknowledging our guests and our partner from Fox Networks Group headed by Ms. Gladys Jacinto - Affiliates & Distribution Head. Then our special guest Atty. Joselito J. Quirao, the Officer-In-Charge of the National Telecommunications Commission - Negros Island gave his brief message regarding the future of Philippine Cable Industry.
Afterwards, we proceeded with our booth tours for our channel updates. Prizes were given away as we presented channels from Fox which were categorized into Movie, Sports, Factual and General Entertainment Channels.
For our main event, JB Borromeo the most sought after power speaker who has trained international and local companies inspired us with his workshop, "Improving Product Activity Through Job Satisfaction". The workshop was full of eye opening facts that made us rethink the way we work into improving not just ourselves but also others.
After the workshop, our Quiz Night made everyone hyped trying to get more answers right for special prizes. Everyone made their own witty team names with ‘Team NGC’ - representatives from Vision Ventures and New Bacolod Cable TV winning the activity.
We closed the night out with a bang! With the local hired band to lead the way, we sang and drank the night away with good food and wholesome entertainment.
It was a great and exciting day for the whole OMI team and we promise not to wait another eight years for our next Bacolod adventure!
